Day 1 – Introduction; Theory; History of Fades; Understanding Fades; Understanding your fading tools; Learn cutting; customer service and consultation techniques & watch expert demos; deconstruct the steps of fades; anatomy of Fades completion of theoretical coursework and exams.
Day 2 – Real live clients – focus on a variety of fades (high, mid, low and taper fades). Also work on razor techniques and styling. Full teacher support with common mistakes and challenges. At this stage you will be assessed on your haircuts to be completed to BSW standards.
Day 3 – Become proficient in fades, learn tricks of the trade, and personalise fades; razor work; teacher support with refining
fading techniques; focus on finishing and cutting speed. Training on advanced fading techniques such as drop and burst fades. You will be assessed on the overall quality of your haircuts that must be passed to an BSW standard. You will undertake additional practice on advanced and unorthodox fades you would find inside a barbershop. You will also be trained on photography, content
creation, online profile building and marketing yourself to prospective employers and barbershop. You will finish your course with a fade battle, with the winner receiving a brand new pair of Babyliss foil shavers.
